Stephen Jenkins Memorial Match

Following the inaugural match in February 2025 at the Honorable Artillery Company (HAC) ground in London, the second edition moved much closer to Stevo’s home, the iconic Arms Park, Cardiff on Saturday 4^th July 2026. A ‘shuffling of the pack’, on this occasion saw the Amman Valley Barbarians take on the HAC & Oxford Invitational XV in an exciting encounter and despite the 25-degree summer temperature, the Joint Invitational side secured a hard fought 36-34 victory over the Barbarians. This leaves the Oxford Alumni contingent as the only unbeaten set of players and over a few post-match beers, the challenge was thrown down for an Oxford Invitational XV to host the HAC/Welsh Barbarians at the historic Iffley Road ground, home of OURFC in 2027.

Stephen Jenkins (Jesus College) 2005-08 Geography. Player of the match in the 2007 U21 Varsity Match which saw Oxford victorious.
