Men's Blues fixtures preview 26/27

We are thrilled to announce the Michaelmas Men's Blues Fixtures for the upcoming 26/27 season.
While Reed Prinsep prepares his team for the pending season, Iffley Road prepares for seven bumper fixtures. Familiar foe, and friendly faces, this term showcases the best rugby talent, in Oxford and beyond.

Week 1 - Leicester Tigers
Term starts with a blockbuster against Leicester Tigers. James Wade (previously of this parish) returns again with a strong team of Leicester hopefuls. Expect strong scrum, electric backs, and a sold out stand!
Week 2 - Richmond RFC
This Saturday afternoon fixture celebrates the 5th Ian Williams Memorial Match, this year at Iffley Road. Keep an eye out for some former Dark Blues now playing for Richmond.
Week 3 - Harlequins
The second Premiership opposition this month. With many Quins players to have played at Iffley Road in the last few years with significant premiership experience, it is set to be a huge challenge for the Dark Blues.
Week 4 - Crawshays Welsh
The finest Welsh touring talent return in the first week of November. After defeat in South Wales last year, the Dark Blues look to return to winning ways against an ever-exciting Welsh Select.
Week 5 - Trinity College, Dublin
The DUFC Dubliners land to take on Oxford's best, to commence an epic Anglo-Irish weekend of Rugby. With the Greyhounds taking on UCC on Saturday afternoon.
Week 7 - Penguins RFC
Steve Hill returns with arguably the most toured rugby squad in existence. Last year featured some alumni from "The other place", so plenty of bragging rights to the winner of this annual meeting.
Week 8 - Major Stanley's XV
This years alumni double header falls on the last Wednesday of term (2nd December). A fan favourite expects to sell out, so make sure you book now to see Oxford's best Men and Women, past and present.
