getting here
Oxford University Rugby Football Club (OURFC) is easily accessible on foot, by bike or public transport, and in a car.
There are two entrances to the site: via the gate on Iffley Road, and via the gate on Loverose Way. The Iffley Road gate is only open on matchdays (and select private events by request), but is the easiest way into the site on foot or by bike.
public transport
Oxford Railway Station is 1.5 miles from OURFC, about a 30-minute walk, or about 20 minutes by bus.
We are lucky to have many bus stops within a 10-minute walk, making it a breeze to get here by public transport. Please see the map below for a visual representation of the bus stops and the routes they serve.

by car
If you are driving here, you should turn off Iffley Road onto Jackdaw Lane, and then take the first right into the University Sports complex. Then take the first right into the Rugby Club. On matchdays, the Loverose Way gate can get quite busy, so make sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare if you are driving; stewards will direct you to where is best to park. Please do not park in the University Sports car park – that facility is reserved for users of the Sports Centre (and they get quite angry if we take all their spaces!).
For the time being, parking on our site is governed by Parkingeye ANPR system – the camera points directly at the entrance to our site, so if you park here, you need to make sure you register your car. You will be told the best way to do this when you arrive. If you fail to register your car details, you will be hit with a £100 fine, and even if your appeal is successful, they will still hit you with a £20 “administration fee” – so please make sure you do register properly!
If you have any unanswered questions, or need specific accessibility information, please email our Head of Operations, Zed Nott, at admin@ourfc.org, or call the office on 01865 432 000 during working hours.
