Gary Street | Former Oxford University Women's Head Coach

Oxford University Rugby Football Club would like to send their support to former Women's Blues coach Gary Street who is recovering from a significant stroke following a planned heart operation.

After winning the World Cup in 2014, Gary joined the club as Women's Head Coach and immediately made a huge impact. Bringing a professional edge, Gary went above and beyond delivering one on one sessions, detailed video analysis and doing everything he could to benefit the Women in the programme. Away from the training field, he pushed for Women's Rugby to receive parity and equity as a programme and helped the club promote and champion the game of Women's Rugby.

After five months in hospital Gary is still facing a long road to recovery with continued therapy required. Everyone at OURFRC would like to support Gary and his family and this can be done by clicking on the Gofundme link here.
