St Edward's vs Magdalen College School

Tomorrow, Friday 19th September 2025, St Edward's School ("Teddies") and Magdalen College School (MCS) will come back to Iffley Road to face off in a pre-season exhibition match. They kick off at 5:30pm.

The last time the two schools came to Iffley Road, in 2023, Teddies came out on top in a high-scoring 38-24 victory, but local rivals MCS will be chomping at the bit to take the win this year. You can see their last match on YouTube here.

Last year, with MCS unavailable, Teddies played Merchant Taylors' School, finishing the game down 8-20. Head of Rugby, Joe Winpenny, who was Rugby Development Officer at OURFC from 2015-2021, will be keen for his Teddies side to come out victorious this year at his old stomping ground.

Entry is allowed for members of the public in the standing room only areas of the ground, for £5 per adult (U18s free). Gates open at 4:30pm and the Pavilion Bar will be open from 4:45pm.
