Red Bull Partners with Oxford University Rugby Football Club for 2026/27 Season

Oxford University Rugby Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Red Bull for the 2026/27 season, bringing together two organisations with a shared passion for sport, performance and creating unforgettable experiences.

The partnership represents an exciting step forward for OURFC and will see Red Bull support the Club throughout the season, bringing activations and experiences to Iffley Road while working closely with OURFC to capture content around our players, teams and the journey towards the 2027 Varsity Matches.

The partnership will officially kick off on Wednesday 21st October, with a major evening of entertainment and rugby as the Red Bull Wings Cup comes to Iffley Road, alongside the Women’s Blues’ first home fixture of the season.

Starting from 5:00pm, the evening will bring together the Red Bull Wings Cup EA SPORTS FC 27 tournament, a social event, drinks and Red Bull pop-ups, creating an exciting atmosphere and a fantastic build-up to the evening’s rugby.

At 7:00pm, attention turns to the pitch as the Women’s Blues take on Brunel 2nd XV under the lights in their first home game of the 2026/27 season.

By bringing these two events together, OURFC and Red Bull aim to deliver a unique matchday experience at Iffley Road, combining gaming, social experiences, entertainment and live university rugby in one evening.

And this is just the beginning...

The Wings Cup marks the first activation of what promises to be an exciting season-long partnership, with Red Bull continuing to support OURFC throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

A key part of the collaboration will involve capturing behind-the-scenes footage and following elements of the Club’s journey towards the 2027 Varsity Matches. From the intensity of training and matchday preparation to the personalities and stories behind the players, the partnership will provide opportunities to showcase Oxford University Rugby in new and engaging ways.

The partnership also reflects OURFC's ambition to continue developing Iffley Road as a destination for more than just rugby, creating memorable experiences that bring together students, supporters, partners and the wider Oxford community.

The announcement marks another significant development in OURFC’s growing commercial partnership programme, as the Club continues to work with leading organisations to enhance the experience for players, supporters and the wider university community.

With the Red Bull Wings Cup launching the partnership in October and the road to Varsity ahead, the 2026/27 season promises to be an exciting one both on and off the pitch at Iffley Road.
