Piers Von Dadelszen has signed for US Major League Rugby franchise the New England Free Jacks for season 2023/24. Piers is currently completing an Engineering degree at St Edmund Hall, and has won three Blues in 2021, 2022 and 2023, two at lock and one at No 8. Piers was capped by Canada last summer, and with this opportunity will look to develop his rugby career and hopefully help Canada qualify for the 2027 RWC in Australia. Piers follows other former OURFC players to play in the MLR, including Tom Mitchell (Los Angeles Giltinis), Nick Civetta (Rugby New York), Andrew Durutalo (Seattle Seawolves), Mungo Mason (San Diego Legion & Old Glory DC), Dom Waldouck & Conor Kearns (both San Diego Legion).
