OURFC ticketed Fixtures & Events

With fixtures finalised for the 2023/24 season all ticketed events are now live for spectators to buy in advance at . Both Jack Glover and Sophie Shams are aiming to make the 'Iffley Road Experience' a special one for all who attend any matches. Buying tickets online is a reduced rate compared to on the gate as well as easing you admission on the day. Simply show it to the gate staff on arrival at the ground. For all of these fixtures the Pavilion bar will be open 75 minutes prior to kick off. For fixtures that are not listed on the tickets page, we still welcome your support and these events are free entry, all fixtures and results can be found here

The start of the ticketed events is the arrival of the 2021 Men's Premiership Champions in Harlequins taking on our Men's Blues side on Wednesday 25th October kick off at 7:15pm. You can buy tickets directly here:

The following week sees the Men's Blues take on Welsh invitational team, Crawshays which is a staple fixture in the OURFC calendar. Tickets can be bought directly here:

On Wednesday 8th November we have our first double header of the season Sophie Shams Blues team set to take on Bristol University kicking off at 3:30pm. Followed by the arrival of 2022 Premiership Champions, Leicester Tigers who take on the Men's Blues kicking off at 7:15pm. Tickets can be bought directly here:

On Wednesday 22nd November former Director of Rugby, Steve Hill will be bringing a strong Penguins invitational team to Iffley Rd to take on the Men's Blues kicking off at 7:15pm. Prior to this match the Women's Blues will be taking on Swansea University kicking off at 3:30pm. Tickets can be bought directly here:

The Michaelmas term culminates with two stunning events. Firstly the Major Stanleys event on Wednesday 29th November. A staple event in the Oxford Calendar, the Major Stanleys day at Iffley Rd is always a fantastic occasion. This year the Corporate Sales for the marquee have sold out in record time. The day gets started with Sophie Shams Blues taking on the Women’s Major Stanleys team kicking off at 11:30am with gates opening at 11:00am. This game is then followed by the Men’s Blues match kicking off at 3:45pm. Tickets can be bought here:

Last but by no means least we celebrate Tim Stevens and his 21 years tenure as General Manager of the club with two 'Ferret XVs set to take on the Greyhounds and Panthers respectively. The event is free for spectators but if you would like to be part of the celebration dinner tickets are at a premium so please do book early:

After the Christmas break the Hilary term starts with a bang! The England U20s are in town on Saturday 13th January. In previous years we have seen many of England's current World Cup Squad (Chessum, Arundell, Van Poortvliet et al.) star in the match. this is your chance to come down ad watch England's future stars take on the Men's Blues team. Tickets for this match are likely to sell out so be sure to book well in advance:

Following the England U20s match we move to Friday Night Lights on 19th January with a poignant fixture for OURFC, with the Ian Williams Memorial Match. Come and celebrate former triple winning Blue Ian Williams as the OURFC Men’s Blues take on BUCS Super Rugby side Swansea University live at Iffley Road, the home of Oxford University Rugby Football Club. This game is to celebrate the life of Ian Williams who made a huge mark at both Universities and sadly and unexpectedly passed away on the training field at Doncaster Knights in 2018. We then move onto our long standing fixtures against the armed services. First the RAF are in town on Wednesday 24th January to take on the Men's Blues tickets can be bought here: followed by the Royal Navy on Wednesday 7th February:

The ticketed fixtures at Iffley Road finishes with local bragging rights put on the line. Oxford Men’s Blues v Oxford Brookes 1st team. The event is sure to be an incredibly lively evening, so be to sure book tickets early.
