Oxford University Rugby Football Club (OURFC) is delighted to announce a new three-year partnership with White & Black Legal, who join as the Official Front-of-Shirt Sponsor for the OURFC Women’s Programme. This exciting collaboration marks the beginning of a long-term relationship between one of Oxford’s most historic sporting institutions and a firm that shares its passion for people, performance, and progress.
Scott Hall, Head of Partnerships and Women’s Rugby at OURFC, said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with White & Black as the front-of-shirt sponsor for the OURFC Women’s Programme over the next three years. To see the White & Black logo take pride of place on the historic Dark Blues shirt is incredibly special. Their commitment to women’s sport and the development of rugby, particularly following the momentum of the Women’s World Cup, demonstrates a genuine belief in creating opportunities and driving progress both on and off the field. The phrase ‘Experience the Difference’ perfectly captures what this partnership represents — two organisations built on professionalism, ambition, and people. As a club, we are striving to deliver exceptional experiences, from major match days at Iffley Road to inspiring community and corporate events, and having White & Black’s support will be pivotal in helping us achieve that. Sam and his team have already shown fantastic support at our first game of the season, and we are excited to see this partnership continue to grow.”

Sam Ridgway, Head of Marketing at White & Black, added:
“It is a great privilege to partner with Oxford University Women’s Rugby. As part of such a historic club, the women’s team personifies the very values we, and our clients, champion: ownership mentality, clear communication, power in partnerships, and driving change. The club embodies a commitment to challenge convention and do things differently, constantly striving to deliver exceptional experiences for players, students, and the community. That same commitment is central to White & Black’s ethos. We care deeply about the community we operate in, and we are always looking for new ways to invest in local talent and women’s sport. We were determined not to simply tick a sponsorship or CSR ‘box’. Instead, mirroring our approach with our legal clients, our goal was to develop a truly valuable, long-term partnership. This three-year agreement represents not just long-term financial support for the women’s game in Oxford, but a genuine commitment to building a lasting and fruitful relationship with a brilliant local club. Our team has already seen the women in action, and we are incredibly excited for what is ahead. We look forward to developing our partnership further as planned activations and content begin to come to life.”
This new partnership reflects OURFC’s continued commitment to championing women’s sport, community engagement, and opportunities for players at every level. The club and White & Black will work closely together across a series of initiatives, match days, and events over the coming seasons.
OURFC continues to welcome businesses and organisations who share its values to explore partnership opportunities across both the men’s and women’s programmes. To learn more about how to get involved, visit www.ourfc.org/partnerships or contact partnership@ourfc.org.
