In their second home game of 2025, the Men*s Blues will take on local, table topping National One team Rams on Friday 31st January at 7:15pm.  Get your tickets here for Friday Night Lights at OURFC.

The Rams haven’t set foot on Iffley Road since November 2021, in an exciting and high-scoring game which ultimately went to the Rams. That season however, the Dark Blues managed to avenge themselves in the second match up, which this years Blues team hope to follow on Friday.

The history between the two clubs is rich, including Tom and Drew Humberstone (pictured below), Rams brothers who earned their Dark Blues. In the 2021 season, they made history by being the first brothers to play alongside each other in a Varsity Match in over 50 years, while Tom is also notable for his record for having scored the most points in a Men*s Varsity Match.

Both teams will be looking to come out strong with something to prove, Blues off the back of a defeat to Leicester Tigers with Rams fresh from a strong win against Leicester Lions this weekend. The evening promises to be competitive rugby with drive and determination strong on both sides.

The opening game of the 6 Nations, France v Wales will also be showing in the Pavilion.

Please find your tickets for this year’s Varsity Matches on Saturday 8th March here
