Oxford University Rugby Football Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Radnor House Twickenham, creating exciting opportunities for pupils to experience high-performance university rugby and gain insight into life within the OURFC environment.
As part of the collaboration, Radnor House pupils have visited Iffley Road to take part in specialist rugby skills sessions and strength & conditioning work, training within Oxford’s facilities alongside OURFC players and coaches. In addition, members of the OURFC programme have also delivered coaching sessions at Radnor House, working directly with pupils and supporting the continued development of rugby within the school.
These experiences allow students to gain a first-hand understanding of the standards, environment and expectations of university rugby, while also strengthening the connection between the two programmes.
The partnership will also offer ongoing mentorship for pupils considering Oxbridge pathways, opportunities to attend OURFC match days, including fixtures against Premiership opposition and a strong Radnor House Twickenham presence at future Varsity fixtures.

Scott Hall, Head of Partnerships at Oxford University Rugby Football Club, said:
“It has been fantastic to begin building a relationship with Radnor House and to see the enthusiasm their pupils have shown when engaging with our programme. Opportunities like visiting Iffley Road and working alongside Oxford players and coaches give students a genuine insight into the standards and environment of university rugby. Partnerships like this are about opening doors, whether that’s inspiring young players on the field or helping students understand the academic pathways available to them. We’re excited to continue developing this relationship and supporting the ambition and development of the pupils at Radnor House.”

Darren Lockyer, Director of Rugby at Radnor House, added:
“Radnor House is thoroughly enjoying its developing partnership with Oxford University RFC, which has already begun to enrich our pupils’ engagement with the game through high-quality and inspiring coaching sessions. The opportunity to learn directly from Scott Hall and current Oxford players such as Lilla Berry has not only elevated the rugby experience for our pupils but has also sparked genuine academic aspiration. By gaining insight into both the athletic and academic pathways at Oxford University, our pupils are broadening their ambitions and showing increased enthusiasm. The time invested by Scott and Lilla has already made a noticeable and positive impact across our school community.”
Oxford University Rugby Football Club looks forward to continuing to develop this partnership with Radnor House Twickenham, creating inspiring opportunities for pupils both on and off the field.
