St Anne's and St John's College team (Saints) recently went on tour to Paris playing their annual match against SciencePo. Trailing 19-5 at half time, the Saints managed to pull it back to 26-26 with 10 minutes to go. SciencePo kicked a penalty with 3 minutes left on the clock. From the resulting kick off they got back down in the Saints half and were camped on the 5 metre line. The Saints fullback then intercepted the ball going the full length of the pitch, scoring as the clock went red so we won 33-29! It’s the first time the Saints have beaten SciencePo for over 6 years so it was a great result.
