As one of the worlds oldest rugby Clubs, OURFC strives to further its position as one of the premier amateur Clubs in the United Kingdom by continuing to play attractive rugby, while at the same time developing talented young players and putting them up against quality opposition. Oxford is part of the oldest amateur rugby rivalries in the world, The Varsity Match. Iffley Road is a rugby facility of the highest standard. The pitch, together with the Pavilion and other spectator facilities are well suited and the ground has a capacity of up to 4000 spectators. The standard of the playing surface is illustrated by its use in the U21 Rugby World Cup of 2003, as well as the fact that the New Zealand Barbarians used the ground as their home base in November 2003.

The Pavilion, walls adorned with unique and historic rugby memorabilia, is perfect for all sponsorship functions and hospitality events.
