James gained a BA (Hons) in Ancient History at Bristol University before coming to Oxford. James home club is Richmond RFC, but he has also played for NEC Harlequins U21’s and represented the South West at U16 and U18 level. James father, Tony was a Blue in 1965 and 1966.
Away from rugby James can be found on the slopes as he is a qualified snowboard instructor.
