Tom otherwise known as ‘The Roach’ has certainly made an indelible impact on Oxford since arriving from Loughborough University where he completed a degree in Business Management and Exercise Physiology. Basically Tom is now in the second year of his MSc in The Science and Medicine of Athletic Performance.

Tom previously played for Leicester Tigers where he played for the U19’s, U21’s and also the senior side on several occasions. The Roach has also represented Henley, British Universities and has won a handful of caps for England Students over the last 3 years… Ahh Sweet. Tom won his Blue for Oxford in the 2003 Varsity match.

The Roach also claims to be an athlete-Well he throws the discus 3 times a year and to be fair he does it with considerable distinction winning honours for England as well as a blue in the 2003 Athletics Varsity…Nice!

Aside from his rugby commitments Tom spends most of his spare time grooming himself. However his efforts rarely go un rewarded, as his track record would suggest… Athletics track that is!! Raahh.
