Raff is currently in the second year of his MSc in Diagnostic Imaging. After studying at Bedford Modern he won a place at Trinity College Dublin where he acquired a diverse range of educational as well as social skills.

After securing sponsorship from Guinness, Raff arrived in Oxford as a fully qualified medic. The rest is history. OURFC’s own dentist has become an influential member of not only the Blue’s rugby squad but also the university’s golf and rugby league teams, where he won a Blue and half-Blue respectively.

In order to free himself from the demands of his course, sporting commitments and part time job Raff finds it necessary to keep Cowley’s Classic Wines in business. Classic Wines appreciation of Raff’s generosity is not shared by his girlfriend and housemates who frequently find that his water works are somewhat dysfunctional.

Raff states that Al Pacino’s quote in the film Devils Advocate of “Never let them see you coming” encapsulates his outlook on life.
