After completing his A Levels at King Charles School Jon joined Oxford to start a degree in Law & Law Studies in Europe.

Since his arrival at Oxford Jon has been a regular in the Grey Hounds side becoming an influential member in their BUSA promotion last year. Jon has also represented the North Midlands and Kidderminster Carolians RFC. As well as his rugby achievements Jon has played cricket for Worcestershire at U18 level.
