James first completed his first degree at Durham University, graduating with honours from his BA in Business. He is now reading for an MSc in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management.

Apart from his regular appearance for the Durham University First Side, he has represented Worcester U21’s, the Samurai 7s and England Students. His first success was in Football however. As a school boy he signed for Coventry City F.C. before seeing the light and turning to the great game.

All this probably explains his lightning quick feet, rocket right boot, and readiness for a good post match social.
