<title>Blues Finish The season In Style</title>
<description>The Blues finished the 2009/10 season in fine style with a rousing 40 points to 26 victory over a youthful Penguins team. The Blues could not have made a worse start, when conceding a try to winger Rhys Crane after just 45 seconds, following a good break from second row Peter Elder, full-back Lee Smith added the conversion. However, this early score spurred the Blues into action and they replied just five minutes later when second row Chris Davies showed a good turn of speed to out pace former England rugby league international Smith to dot down under the posts. Fly-half Charlie Marr added the simple conversion. Not to be out done, Davies lock partner Dan Guinness was next to score following a neat inside pass from Captain Nick Haydon, Marr again adding the extras. Man of the Match - flanker Tosa Makoto was next to score for the home team, when he drove his way through some weak tackling to score near the posts for Marr to add a third conversion. On the stroke of half-time, full-back Lee Smith pulled a try back for the Penguins when he finished off a good move to score out wide, he could not add the conversion however to make the score at the break 21 - 12 in favour of the home team. The Blues started the second half in direct contrast to the first as they scored a try within a minute of the break through full-back Will Browne, his 17th try and 17 matches, with Marr adding a fine touch-line conversion. The Penguins hit back almost immediately when their scrum-half Harry Peck spotted a gap and scored under the posts, Smith converting. Not to be outdone, Haydon then repled for the Blues with a trademark snipe from close range, on this occasion Marr could not convert - his only miss of the night! Prop Will Kane scored the Blues sixth and final try, when the forwards drove him over from a good catch and drive line out, Marr converting. The Penguins had the last word however, when Crane added his second with a fine diagonal run from his wing to score under the posts - he added the extras too. Final score 40 points to 26.

<description>For the Blues final match of the season, Captain Nick Haydon is able to call upon nine Blues in his squad to take on the Penguins at Iffley Road this evening, kick off 7.15pm. Fly-half Rhodri James is unavailable due to injury, so Charlie Marr moves from full-back to take his place, while wing Sean Morris returns from England students duty last week. <title>Blues Defeat Royal Navy</title>
<description>The Blues secured their second victory over the Services teams with a hard earned 15 - 8 victory over the Navy at Portsmouth on Tuesday night. Captain Nick Haydon, once again called upon a mix of youth and experience and for the first half it looked as though the Blues might come unstuck, as they conceded a try from open-side Greg Bardon and a well taken drop goal from fly-half Tom Glover to find themselves 8 nil down at the break. However, the Blues started second half with much more purpose and the try machine that is winger/full-back Will Browne scored a brace of tries in another strong performance with fly-half CHarlie Marr converting one and adding a penalty to seal the victory. The Blues now have two weeks off before entertaining the third and arguably strongest of the services teams - The Army - at Iffley Road on Tuesday 23rd February, kick off 7.15pm.

<title>Car Parking For Penguins Match</title>
<description>Please note that for the Blues v Penguins match on Tuesday 2nd March KO 7.15pm, there will be very limited car parking within the ground due to the recent very wet weather! However, thanks to the cooperation of SS Mary &amp; John School on Meadow Lane, we will be able to use their grounds for parking. Access both in and out will be down Jackdaw Lane and then turning left down Meadow Lane, before entering the school grounds. There will be staff in attendance to help direct you. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you you are able to make use of any alternative parking then that would also help to ease congestion on the night, as we expect a reasonable crowd for the last game of the season.
